It is a symbolic rite and without legal validity. Celebrated by a Mayan-language shaman, it is based on the spirituality that unites the spouses with the creator of the universe under the blessing of the gods.
The rite begins with the presentation of the spouses to cosmic energy, to mother earth, to the four winds and to the temple of love of the Higher Being.
The newlyweds will drink a sacred drink as a symbol of their union and exchange vows, while the guests in a circle will throw petals onto them as a blessing.
